What I noticed is that the best blogs had these factors in common: Good, unique content, usually with the blogger talking about personal experiences, or giving their personal opinions and commentaries one topic or another. Frequent new posts/updates and at regular intervals. Well written, with good grammar, spelling and punctuation. Well laid out, often with pleasing colors and graphics, but not overdone. Links to and from other sites / blogs. Can be found on the first page results of a Google search. I tried the blog thing briefly but I gave it up. What I noticed is that the best blogs had these factors in common:
